Hats off to the group leader, one of the most patient person I have ever met.
On the coach journey they were reciting urdu nohas. My urdu isn’t great but the parts I didn’t understand, I filled in the blanks. But it truly felt like we are in the way to Aba Abdallah.
The group leader was saying this is the first time in 2 years we have gotten permission to visit the Askarain Shrines due to security issues.
Alhamdullilah for the opportunity to go.
But something cool I noticed. Even on the way to Samarra, driving across war torn lands, where your life is quite literally at risk, you see black flags and/or flags of Imam Hussain flying in the wind. Truly Hussain is everlasting.
